Soul Server, Full-Time & Part-Time

LANEY & LU is on the search for individuals looking to join Team LU as a Soul Server in both our Exeter & Portsmouth, NH locations.

As a Soul Server for LANEY & LU, you will provide friendly, responsive service to create an extraordinary customer experience by making genuine connection with our guests, discussing our menu and making recommendations when appropriate, taking their orders and processing payments, and serving food and/or beverages to our guests at the counter or table. Soul Servers also engage in other tasks in the areas of food and beverage preparation including but not limited to blending smoothies, crafting coffee beverages, and making salads, wraps, and sandwiches.

Kitchen Prep

Team LU is searching for individuals looking to join our kitchen team in both our Exeter & Portsmouth, NH locations.

The Kitchen Prep position is similar to a traditional Prep Cook position. At LANEY & LU, we believe that everyone is responsible for living into our core values and upholding our excellence standards for restaurant environment, food preparation, and customer experience. The Kitchen Prep’s primary responsibility is to prepare hot and cold food items for daily service. The Kitchen Prep is also cross-trained and eager to respond to the needs of the team whether it is for line production or customer service. The Kitchen Prep reports to the Kitchen Leader (a.k.a. Head Chef) and House Leader (a.k.a. General Manager).

Dishwasher/ Kitchen Assist

We’re looking for a energetic and outgoing individuals to join our Exeter & Portsmouth teams as Dishwashers / Kitchen Assist team members! Full Time or Part Time available.

As Dishwasher / Kitchen Assist, you will be responsible for washing, cleaning, and sanitizing tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment with speed, efficacy and efficiency. This position requires you to maintain a clean and organized work area. You will collaborate with front of house team members to maintain cleanliness and order of the dining room, patio, and other customer areas as needed. Other responsibilities including assisting the back kitchen team with food prep as needed and receiving/putting away food and supply deliveries. Our culture is one of connection and collaboration so this role will closely work with members across all aspects of our team, especially the back kitchen team.

As with all team members, the Dish/Kitchen Assist team member fulfills any other duties the manager, or owner assigns and represent LANEY & LU in a professional manner that demonstrates our values.
